I had a little extra money left over from Christmas and I noticed that the drop-in bedliner was rubbing into the paint exposing primer. So I decided it was time for a spray-in liner. I called three places, Georgia Trucks and Stuff, Linex of Dallas, Ga. and Linex of Marietta, Ga.

 

Ga. Trucks and Stuff came in the lowest price at $300. Linex of Dallas was the highest at $400. Linex of Marietta came in at $345. So I decided to stop by Linex of Marietta to investigate further. I talked to Shane at Marietta and showed him the areas of concern. I knew that the inside of bed would be fixed. But I was worried about the forward bedrail, where the drop-in hooked over the bed. Another area was the tailgate outside, where the tailgate protector fit over the tailgate. He assured me that this would be no problem fixing the problem areas. He told me a little history on Linex and infact the shop owner actually started Linex before the company was sold and went nationwide. Also he threw in that he liked S-10’s and actually owned a 2000. I asked him about color matching the liner with truck. He pointed out that no one has had any luck with white because it stains too easy. I hadn’t thought of that. So it would not be worth the extra money. All in all Shane seemed very knowledgeable and put all my concerns at ease. I set up an appointment for the next Friday.

 

So on Friday, I arrived at Linex Marietta at 11:00 am. I snapped off some pics of the before. After the drop-in liner was removed, I took some pictures of the damage caused by the drop-in. Then they set to work. Sanded, prepped, and sprayed. Then two hours later the truck was complete. I was amazed. The bed looked brand new. Shane even covered the small holes in the tail gate, that were caused by the drop-in. I snapped off a few more pics and was on my way.
